Dave and Jo Rita Cisco have operated Portraiture by Dave Cisco as a home-based studio since 1982. In the years that followed, they have met, photographed, and become friends with thousands of people in the Fort Worth Metroplex area. While they do maintain a conventional in-door studio for use on special request, the vast majority of their portraiture is conducted outdoors, at locations of their clients’ choice. Because of their concentration in outdoor location work, and the delivery of portraits of incomparable quality, Dave has become widely known as an outdoor portrait specialist. In the development of their expertise, they have studied under numerous icons in the professional industry, including Paul Skipworth M.Photog, Cr., PPA Certified, F-ASP of Gittings fame, and Don MacGregor, M. Photog, Cr. (US), M. Photog, F-ASP (Canada), one of Canada’s’ elite professional photographers.
   
Dave has been a Certified Professional Photographer since 1992, was awarded the degree of Master Photographer in 1997, and the degree of Photographic Craftsman in 2000. He has won numerous local, state and national awards for photographic excellence, including representation in the National Loan Collection, several Kodak Gallery Awards, Best Illustrative Portrait by a Master twice, and Metroplex Photographer of the Year for 1997 and 1998. He has taught photography in Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana at the professional level, is one of a select few Full-Fellow members of the Texas Professional Photographers Association, and has had images and articles published at both state and national levels. Jo Rita Cisco has spoken to professional organizations in Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana and has met all requirements for her Photographic Craftsman Degree. Both are frequent attendees of professional seminars, and have attended the Texas School of Professional Photography numerous times. It is the largest such school in the nation. In order to maintain his high standard of excellence for his clients, Dave regularly competes his work in the Masters Class at the state and national level. Dave also has his BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University, and is a full time employee of Lockheed Aerospace in Fort Worth, Texas.
